anyone help me with me desktop..


was on a ethernet cable..

all fine

moved it- now on wireless.. same house same modem.. conencts to wireless wont connect to internet page etc..


laptop works fine wireless..


?? simple answer I guess. but me no nerdy nerd.. wish I was

real time chat would be good as I need sort it asap.. msn?? or me phone..!

I just re arranged everything in the room so that the ethernet cable now reaches the desktop tower..so I still not wireless and aint got the pc where I really want it but hey..


is mad it connects wireless says connected.. just wont let me on the net- but the laptop will..

Could be that the internet gateway hasnt set itself up right on the wireless connection... Hard to say without getting hands on and seeing though. :(

you are so full of wit!!If you have access control on the router and its turned on then this is why it wont connect wirelessly. If its netgear then this could be the case!

like i say I got it via the ethernet cable now which is better anyway aint it- just had to re arrange me room !!

does wireless to me lappy though..
