I've got differnet tones for different caller groups, that way if work call I know not to bother getting out of my seat for the long walk to the kitchen.

For my kids I've recorded them saying "Answer the phone dad, it's Emily! (or Molly, but she rarely has credit)"

If what you want is on Youtube for example, how do you get it to your phone?

Messie - usually best idea is to try & get mp3 of the ringtone you want (or get someone nice to find & download it for you ;)) as most phones support mp3's as ringtones nowadays.

I just put in Airwolf theme tune on google, found an MP3 of it. Saved that then bluetoothed it over from my laptop to my mobile. I haven't found a very good free/compatible one yet though.

How do you set different text alerts?

Depends on if your phone supports it. Sony C902 does, edit the contact and there under the setting for ring tone is another for message tone.
