I reckon that stealth cat hid your camera somewhere else.

Did you see it, the cat...it kept running round the site, but its legs didn't move, it kinda hovered everywhere it went, and it only came out when it was dark.

A bit like those midnight runners with the lights on their heads

Mate , it got even worse near Preston , you know how it was when we were huddled under that overhang at the service station ? Well it was like that from Preston to North Wales ..... I still got home Dry , Kit like that is what makes a journey a lot safer , a bit more bearable and the ability to ride every day of the year in all weathers . Well worth the money to get all weather kit mate .

richa monsoon may be cheaper.

Speaking of chains..it seems my little hungover SV, that needed hair of the dog in the oil department, chain tightened up some how(dunno how, think carnivore overtightened a smidgeon before the weekend) it had a little wee on the way home, and again when I got home. Seems the sprocket seal may have gone :-(

Thats where it appears all the oil did go. Thing is I got a nice perfect half of the chain and then the other half is a lot tighter, only got about 2000 miles on too...bah.

Answers on a postcard!

aye, can't afford rukka but im scouring ebay for some goretex trou at the mo (was actually going to get some before we went but got let down).
See how far I get with the manufacturer of the '100% waterproof guaranteed' trousers I was wearing. it was around 5 minutes before I was completely soaked.

It was soooo bad after Dizzy left me at Kendal on the M6, I had to stop under a motorway bridge with a BMW rider and hide right at the top under the parapet (sp) :(. 3 lanes of solid traffic, filtering with a tinted visor and about 3 inches of standing water was scary.

I must of been heading wrong way! Traffic was horrendous and rain was unbelievable, must have filtered for 10-15 miles easily :D. Had a moment as soon as you left the motorway too, after waved you off the slip road I opened the throttle up to an indicated 95mph and there was a cop car parked on top of the bridge, ooops :D

My jacket stood up to it fine, only cost me £50 and it's been crashed a fair few times.
It was the trousers that were the problem. Anywhere up to £100 really, although I'm looking second hand too and I'm after goretex, can get some goretex trousers for £130 at hein gericke actually. tempting.

there were two coppers parked on the top of the bridge, side by side on the roundabout there. There was also an unmarked bike too on the road round the corner. I did go very quietly:^o

should have gone round the bout and told em off for double parking on a roundabout:smt031

Just ordered a Tsubaki chain and sprockets from local Suzuki Dealer yesterday and they came to £87 which will have to do for the time being , last chain had a couple of tight spots on it and sprockets just starting to wear and it had done 15,000 miles . My fault for letting it run a bit dry over the winter after that thieving sack of turds stole my scottoiler . If I had got onto that a bit sharpish I reckon the chain would have got way more miles onto it ..... I reckon I could have got that up to around 22,000 looking at current condition before contemplating replacement and that is even after it got worse this weekend , downside to all of this is that the dealer can`t fit it for at least another week . Might have to try and cadge a chain rivetting tool for the weekend and fit this myself when it arrives on Friday .

The Badgeress was in work for 10 , I didn`t hit my Driveway until Midnight , It took me 5 minutes to actually stand up and drag my leg over the saddle and get into the house . I stopped 2 times for fuel after waving byebye to you and Dave and just decided to get the hammer down and crack on . 8 hours it took for me from beginning to end and I reckon hour and half of that was breaks in total for widdles , watering , fuel and waiting for you 2 to get rain kit sorted so downtime was at a minimum really for the miles covered .

And no , the bath wasn`t run LOL . I climbed into bed at 1am , very very sore and was woken by the Badgeress giving me a cuddle at 6:30 , she said I yowled like a Cat from the pain in my body .
