No because I do it myself sometimes if I don't notice them till the last minute. Don't take it personally ;)

Some people don't nod altogether, some wave instead..

I don't always do it, usually cos I'm concentrating on the other clowns in cages round me, or whats round the bend.

Don't even give them a second thought. They might be being rude (if they're not just concentrating or didn't notice you etc) but......they'll pass you and not give you another thought. By getting annoyed, you're letting them affect your day......don't. If you thin the rider was a pr!ck.....say so under your breath and move on, forgetting about them!

I have had scooter riders and L plated riders wave or nod to me and I will always aknowledge them if i can.

1- flash your lights rapidly

2- nod your head erraticly :smt081

3- if they still don't notice do all the above while waving :smt039

4- should the above fail flail your arms in a team america style fashion :smt026

5-should none of that work kamikaze towards them at full speed, then they have no choice but to acknowledge you. :smt103

Dont worry about people not responding. had a couple today who didnt but then i think they were busy concentrating. Although the guy on the custom giving a full on wave made up for it :-)

To be able to jump off my bike wave all my limbs like some mad man and then remount my bike and ride off into the hero sunset.

And if someone filmed that then my life would be complete

what about you ? does this happen to you ?I gave up nodding in london years ago. Afer about 2 miles i felt like a nodding dog! When im out and about then i may nod every now and again, but said, sometimes i miss other riders oding it as im concentrating on the road!

Yeah,i know what your saying,when i started legally riding bikes on the road 20+yrs ago,everyone used to nod,you felt almost like the churchill dog,nowadays it's just here & there......changing/sign of the times i guess.
