Just got back from Tyndrum, after a nice lazy ride home, what a brilliant weekend it's been... Some of the folks who were there won't see this for a day or two I reckon but when you do- thanks everyone for coming, and thanks to everyone who contributed big or small along the way, it was ace.

Did you all pass through Strathyre today?
Passed a big group of SVs with a yellow ducati and then passed a distinctive green SV with two whit stripes! Must have been you :)
I was on the red SV1000 heading the other way on a charity run.

Some of the others went off to do a second ride doing the duke's pass, so that was probably them (with Pete and Lissa on the Duke). But I'd had enough ;)
that went very well, really enjoyed myself.. a BIG thanks to the organisers....
Yes it was better organised this year, I didn't have to wait about for hours :D

Me and Mrs Jaromic really enjoyed the short time we were there, we'll defo be going for the weekend next year. Although if we hadn't bumped into Northy at connel we probably wouldn't have caught the group until they were back at the welly. Nice meeting you by the way Northwind :salut:

Super duper weekend for all.Got in around 6.30. All my gear unpacked...sort of.
It shows how good a weekend it was, as our friends Paul and Tracy thought it was absolutely brilliant, as they only know us:cool: They both went home buzzing, Paul was still buzzing when matt left him in Durham:smt080
Paul thought it was great there were so many of different abilities, everyone respectful of each other in the ride........and a few for him to chase:D;)
I enjoyed the entire weekend, lovely to meet some different folk from last year, and those friends that we see at these events.
I gave Northwind my annual hugggggg session before I left:smt060that was me trying to say thankyou BTW.
Myself and MrUki rode with the guys that did the ride today for a while, then buzzed orf down the motorway.
I could say so much more....but I can type(and chat) the ass end off a donkey:p
PS Northy did you find your camera?

That was really funny, talk about cutting it fine! You can thank dodgy honda batteries for that...
PS Northy did you find your camera?
Nope, I gave up eventually, but I just got a call from the campsite, someone found it and handed it in, not sure how they found it! So pleased about that! It was insured anyway so I wasn't going to be out of pocket but it had all my ride pics and videos in it, plus I've had it for ages and it's kind of a faithful friend, I was a bit :smt022when I decided it was just gone for good. It's been round the world, if you shake it australian dust falls out :D Campsite people were really good about it too. Well pleased!
Glad you got the camera back - there will be some craking shots on that no doubt
We'll thats me just in - still not unpacked still in my leathers and well and truly knackered.
As always a fabby weekend and even more people to meet
Went home the first time via killin and aberfeldy and then the A82 the second time
Sunny thought it was great and really enjoyed meeting you all:confused:

Thanks to all who organised the GM2 this year. It was a great weekend away I thoroughly enjoyed it. The best 500 miles I've done to date.

No amount of bribing in the world could persuade me otherwise I'm afraid my dear Sally :-P Besides, I think I owe it to the people of the org, and indirectly those at the campsite ;)

Yes a fab time was had by me.
Was good to see Badgers bike getting the full Org treatment and discovering what could have been a potenially lethal fault.
Rideout covered some great roads although Northy's "You are all going to die on this next stretch of road" speech was maybe over the top.
Good crowd, good banter.
Well done to all those involved with the organising and riding on the day.

its because northy is used to Ecosse only rideouts when someone (usually northy) comes off.

I dread to think what would have happened if that had cut out in the outside lane of the motorway . The Org gathered around , applied some good knowledge despite me shooting it down from time to time as barking up the wrong tree , nobody gave up ....... a very humbling experience for me . I actually walked away after an hour or so and went to the wigwam and I will admit this ...... my bottom lip went for a tremble , all that way and an expensive journey home after buying recovery on the phone . Thanks to Ethariel for the test of the clocks , thanks to DaveP for trying his starter solenoid and battery , you 2 went above and beyond the call of duty . Thanks to Dave Preston and Gaz for rummaging about and excluding problems , GMS for chipping in and Amarko as well with assembly and lamp holding in the dark in midge infested hours , Northy .... forever in your debt for those crimp connectors , Yorkie Chris for getting to the last damned thing and finding the fault , Bibio ......... advice and tools and small hands , in fact any one person that asked about the bike and chipped in with a of bit advice , you were all excellent .
I would have stayed up all night to get my baby working again and I have no doubt that some of you would have stayed up with me .......... If maybe we are on a rideout and one of you has a problem , I hope I am there to roll up my sleeves and give you a hand as well and return the favour .......... forever in your debt xXBADGERXx
and being able to undo connector blocks.. lol

its funny, as the brolly was too small for the brolly dolly person , and instead of hovering over YCs head, they kept it to emselves! So it was completely useless. I did laugh though.
