Hi guys,

I'm considering selling my SV, and wondered if anyone can give me a clue as to how much I can expect to get for it.

It's a '99 faired curvy in yellow (the best colour!).
Done about 24k miles.
It's a little cosmetically challenged. I've ridden it all year round so the finish has suffered a bit. It also has a few cracks, scrapes, and scratches on the fairings. Mechanically it's sound, but it's probably due a good service.
It's fairly standard but has racetech emulators in the forks and an aftermarket end can. Also got the 33bhp washes (not fitted).

Any ideas?

Cheers,

John

I've got some cheese in the fridge if you'll take that!!

I think about a grand is about right if its only fairing damage you have. Most important thing should be a bike thats running right with no rust imho. Cant you sort of buff the scrapes out or something?

i'd say £1100 - thats not bad milage for a 10 year old bike. You could get a bit more if you tidy it up (post pics?) and if you sell it restricted to someone on a 33bhp lisence (better to pay an extra £100 than ge the bike unrestricted and then pay £250!)

Its red leicester where one end has somehow magically hardened and turned a beautiful sun setting red. The rest is standard fiery orange. All 100% fine to eat honest!

Sorry mate, curly wurlys are far too intricate for my simple tastes.

How about a marathon, a pack of opal fruits, and a bottle of Jif?

In that case I will have to respectfully decline. I'm only interested in biscuits with a radius greater than 1".
