Goodwood Festival of Speed

Ace day out. Deffo advise it for motorsport enthusiasts. Lots and lots of money in kit there. Its a full day out, we got there at 8.45am and didn't leave until 4.30pm, and it was still going on. Some very unique and rare cars, a lot of which I tried to spot. Great getting so close to so many cars and bikes, including seeing some of the cars I used to watch as a young wippet..

Nice pics, i went 2 years ago, my first time, great day out and all free :D thanks to the company my Dad works for, wanted to go this year but didnt. Fave pic has got to be the RS cossy, old Focus RS and new Focus RS, niiiiiiiiice

We went on Saturday, been a couple of times and a really great day out.

Like you, a long one (Yorkshireman getting my moneys worth) left Wilts at 7.00am, got home at 8.00pm.

Agreed it's expensive, but where else can you watch Stirling Moss drive, and then chat to Andy Green (as in fastest man on earth, in Thrust 2) !

Loved the nice choppers there and the old racing cars from my teenage years, and had a laugh at Sue sitting on a V-Rod with her legs dangling a foot from the floor :D

Anybody going to the Silverstone Classic in a couple of weeks ?

PS.. better last year though, as I saw VBH :smt054in the flesh (in fact she nearly ran me over whilst I was looking at the car next to hers as she was parking) !

She's even cuter (and smaller) up close (although not as close as I would like to get) ;-)
