Hi guys and girls here we have for sale my pride and joy. Suzuki Sv650S K1 on an X-reg. She is currently restricted to 33 bhp with the washers in the carb. Exceptionally easy to remove as I’m sure most people will want full power (half-an-hour labour from a garage), however very handy for people on their restricted licence. I have owned the bike just under a year, I’m selling her half because of money problems and half because I got caught speeding and any more points and any more points and it’d s full extended re-test for me (no thanks). The previous owner was a 50 year old gentleman who used it as it as a dry weather bike and I have only got caught in the rain no more than 5 times. These bikes restrict exceptionally well, I have done a bit of touring around Wales with the Mrs and full camping gear and although it wasn’t tearing up the road the bike was excellent.
17600 Miles
12 Months MOT
6 Months Tax
Blue flame Evo Oval Can (£280)
Lower fairings (£300)
Rear hugger (£150)
The bike was last serviced 2500 miles ago, the tires have a couple of mm left on both front and rear, 500 miles ago it had a new chain and sprockets and rear wheel bearings at Sheffield Motorcycles, who also just did the MOT last week. As they new I was selling the bike as well as the MOT they took it out for a test ride and valuation and commented on it being a great example of an SV and for a garage they offered me a very reasonable price, despite agreeing I could get more selling it privately. I still have the original handbook, as well as the last 2 MOT Certificates and both keys. The two things mentioned on the Mot was that the exhaust was a little too loud (but legal enough to pass, but it sounds amazing) and that the rear brake pads only have a few hundred miles left in them. It starts on the button, every single time without fail and has never let me down, no weird noises or rattles from the engine. I took a lot of care when buying the bike in the first place and this was the 5th SV I viewed and rode before buying this one, just because she was so excellent in every way.
You can see from the photo’s that the bike is in very good condition, its never been dropped and doesn’t have any major scratches, but does have the wear and tear of a K1 bike, a few minor scratches on the lower fairing, indicator stalks and mirror (were it got caught getting it in and out of the garage) pitting on the forks (very common on these bikes). I’m only trying to be as honest as possible and anyone who views the bike will realise it is in very good condition, she has been well looked after and lovingly polished many Sunday afternoons. She will make a brilliant bike and I’m literally devastated to see her go, viewings in Swallonest, Sheffield, i'm Kayak Surfing in Wales until Friday so please phone 07853256683 and leave a message for viewings and i'll do my best. Viewings preferably at weekends. £1600 ono, thanks.
