Matilda is now 4 1/2, up untill now I've had to endure the High School Musical / Mama Mia / Disney princess cd in the car

untill she heared P J Harvey\\:D/

the girl has got taste after all:D

mum's not happy though!

so what do your kids listen to?

Their current fave is Knights of Cydonia by Muse which i used to love but have nowheard waaay too many times... Also Dream Catch Me by Newton Faulkner and anything by the Ting Tings. Have just bought them High School Musical 'sing it' for the playstation and my ears are now beginning to bleed :-)

my girl is 12 so it's more Nickelback, Beyonce, Leona Lewis and Gwen Stefani. Beats HSM!

I'm 23 and I'm currently listening to a mix of drum'n'bass and the vengaboys/cheeky girls :)

My 10 year old likes Metallica and Slash is his hero.

My 8 year old doesn't really listen to much, although he does have The Specials on sometimes

The 16 year old? Green Day, last I heard :)

your 10 year old has definite taste then! :)) I have no idea who The Specials or Green Day are though...:smt102. Post 1986 music I dont really know!

my seven year old particularly likes music he can air guitar to and headbang :-) Top banana!
However if he hears anything girly or indeed pop like..he will tell me its crap, and if he gets chance turn it off!!

The Specials are a Ska band from the late 70s. Not my cup of tea but they don't sound too bad!

Both of my boys were also quite impressed with Pink Floyd, but maybe that was because teachers were getting told off in The Wall!

My Lad's been brung up on a strict diet of soul, funk, disco, hip hop etc. which have flavoured his tastebuds somewhat.

however, this coudl all change after he's attended his first teenage party this evening!:o
