saturday; hopefully fit in a ride before work then work til 1 then hopefully more riding then somesort fo night time activity.
Sunday; lie in then weather permitting (it won't) an all day ride. Plan B: fook knows!

today: ring volkswagen york to find out what the hell is going on with my car and when I can get rid of the ghey-mobile (convertible Eos... lovely to drive, embarrassing to be seen in - ask ploppy about the other night when we put the top down and went for a ride round barton bike night)

tonight: get home from hinckley about 10pm & slob out

tomorrow: take SV to york suzuki for new rubbers to be fitted, then ring VW York again... Definitely need to go to the gym, prolly need to go shopping and then go see Bruno (Ish bin pushin zer boundries!)

Friday - After work I shall crack open the wine and pamper myself until Phil gets home, then catch up with Phil when he finally gets home.

Sat - house hunting then out for dinner in the evening to one of my favourite restaurants

Sun - recover from Sat night then out for a charity dinner Sunday evening then watching Phil head off out with lads for what could be a very messy night!

Oh, plus I'm having the weekend off my gluten free diet so I'm going to eat as many bacon rolls and burgers and as much fried rice as is humanly possible in 2 days. I may even venture to have a beer or two. And a pork pie. Nah, a whole 6-pack of pork farms minis. And one of them flat pancakey things with the maple syrup that they make in front of you on a sort of frying pan thing, what are those again? Never had one but they look ace. And I'll wash it all down with a pizza.

Tonight- Had takeaway and I'm now polishing off some home made cider. I think I've drunk more in the past 2 weeks than I had in the previous 6 months..
Saturday- Morning, borrowing a truck and clearing a load of crap from my grandparents house. Afternoon, out for a ride weather permitting. Evening I'm playing music :)
Sunday- If the weather is half decent, out for a ride, if not, bored at home.

Friday night - drive around Soho trying to get to Frith Street when half the roads are closed because of a fire.

Saturday - lunch with friends. Picnic if the weather's nice, indoor buffet otherwise. Then boozing and boardgames until midnight (I turn into a pumpkin).

Sunday - recover from saturday night then off to the pub for lunch.

Monday - Last day of holiday... :(

Update. Drove from Weston to Manchester, played gig, got back in car and drove back to Weston. Got up at three AM on Saturday morning and got home at Three am on Sunday morning. :cool:

Carol's band owned the stage and despite a technical glitch due to feed back from a fault with the Sound Engineers kit, everything went well. The crowd rocked and one girl we shall call Lola danced so hard and so furiously that she created a space around her self and just rocked out! \\:D/

After the gig Sian the lead singer legged it to the pub and swallowed five pints of Guinness, so packing up was fun, she kept singing and giggling and falling over a lot! :smt042

During the drive home, Sian and Angi fell asleep in the back of the car and Carol and I chatted up front. Four hundred miles and one gig later, we were knackered and fell into bed. I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.

It really did feel like a Blues Brothers moment with all of us crammed into the car and 400 miles and a gig to go. :cool::cool:

Saturday Morning - Swear not to buy a house for a year.

Lunchtime - Phone rings asking me if i was still interested, went for a drive around and went to another development and found somewhere more suited to me.

Sunday Morning - Went for a 2nd look and decided it was still as good as i felt the day before, going for a look with my dad tomorrow.

Gonna be an expensive few months. But at the end of the day it's only £60k of my money so with my wages going up i'll be happy.

IF all goes well tomorrow should be moved in within 6 weeks.

I am currently in Haywards Heath in West Sussex about to leave the hotel for the day for two days of gigs. Got some Motown rubbish today and tomorrow I am mixing Monitors for Katherine Jenkins again so I get to stare and drool at her massive...voice? :)

Weekend went okay. Motown thing was indeed rubbish but as they had their own engineers I managed to spend most of my day in the pub.

Im proud to report that Katherines Voice was stunning...both of them.

It then rained on the load out so got soaked but Sunday was nice weather so enjoyed a BBQ with many many friends and family to celebrate Kerri's birthday which is on thursday. I am now on holiday until tuesday next week :)
