May be of interest to some. Just received a Cheshire East Council newsletter and as part of a motorbike safety campaign, Cheshire police are offering a limited number of FREE places on Bikesafe for male riders aged between 31 and 45 and who live in Cheshire.
Places can be booked by calling Cheshire Police on 01244 615254.
Just called to ask why its only free for that age range?? And to ask the cost for anyone younger! But got a machine.

That's rubbish. Why exclude everyone not in that age bracket? Also, why only men and not women?
Still, least some people are getting it for free... though I still don't understand why North Wales residents can get a free 2 day BikeSafe / FBoS (First Bike on Scene) course yet others cannot.

everywhere is different, from memory, Cheshire also offer it to people who work in the county.
Lancs don't do it. They are police officers not riding instructors
