Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm stumped as to the right section for this.
Anywho, I want to get a longer connection lead from my optimate to my bike, so that I may connect the charger to my battery while the bik is parked up outside, then I can just shut the cable in the window and leave the bike on charge when its not in use.
Where can I get one?
Matt
you could make one, as they sell the conecters in maplins.
or how about an extension lead?

As Hovis has already said, just extend the leads.
I did mine in about 15 minutes.

You may find the correct connector blocks are cheaper from a radio controlled model shop. Tamiya use the same connectors on their batteries.

I'll make you one up if you get the bits Matt
Tho tbh you are more than capable, all you need is a crimping tool or a pair of pliers.
The connector is < £2 from Maplins, then you just need x meters of 2-core cable.

Does the cable need to be of any particular quality? I dont want to buy anything thats just gonna burn out
[edit] dont worry, maplins do what i need :D

That's where I normally get mine from, have made a couple of extra leads to go with the optimate lead from my bike :D

Make one using "Tamiya"/"Kyosho" connectors from Maplin or a model shop and suitable cable.
I made my own Optimate socket to go on my CG for about £1.50

I just bought my extension off Ebay lol. It wasn't that much (<£10 almost certainly, though I can't remember right now). Not enough for me to bother making my own
