ECU Connectors

Hi All,

Have just ordered a restricted ECU off ebay for my 2007 sv650s. Having since taken the seat off to look at the existing ECU, it looks like the restricted one has a different connector:

I was under the impression that the restricted ECU would fit all injection (2003 onwards) models? Or have I just been an idiot and ordered the wrong part??

i think the one you have bought is for 03-05 then the connector changed to what you have currently got in ur k7

The restricted one you have there is the same connection type as my K9 ECUs. Maybe the K7 was an odd one out?

Ok cheers guys. I just got unlucky then I guess.

Never mind, maybe a suzuki dealer might do me a swap... These ECUs are proving pretty difficult to track down!

K7-K9 are listed as a different part number I understand due to the bike using 4 plugs instead of two.
