selling my bmw 650gs to look for a good sv650 hope i can learn a wee bit on the forums

Hellllooo and welcome. There seems to be plenty of good ones for sale in the "for sale" section. There is a "stuff wanted" section where you could invite people to offer you their SV's and if you have preferences (FI model or carb'd model, naked, half-faired, full fairing etc etc) you can say that too

stick around and join in the fun :D

Ah willkommen herr bmw-er.

Trust me, you can learn a whole heap from these forums if you really want to. Including plenty of stufff non SV related or even bike realted and of absolutely no use to you at any point in your life :)

cheers the bmw was ok ish but i just cant get comfy on it after a weekend away to mull there

tbh years ago i thought the sv was nice but to slow (i mean slow compaired to fireblades and such like)...then i got older :-(

ha well from being in the trade (well for smart cars) i know how much i will lose i have seen one on ebay £2300 for a 2006 model so i could get it i was wanna make sure the price was good, after scouring the net it seems it is

yea, getting used isnt a bad idea. Just check out a few in the flesh before you buy...the newer models tend to have the worst build quality. my 1999 SV seems pretty good by the standards of some new models :eek:
