:DThought I'd put a thread in here just to check you all know you're very welcome to attend the Annual Rideout 09. We'd love to meet some of you.

And don't go telling me it's too far - even though it's about as far away from you as can be on English soil. I once rode from Galway to Colchester in one day on a GSXR750! Couldn't walk for the next 24 hours, but who cares lol.

Go on, you know you want to!:D

Not a lot wrong with Hertforshire as far as I know (I can think of at least 2 decent chaps from there)

But this is in the Ireland section!

Play in a band and have two gigs virtually every weekend, if I have the weekend off I'll be there!
I take it you can just turn up (on a Triumph) ?

The AR itself is just a few hours bimbling ride - you could turn up, do the ride and probably get home for any gigs.

Due to the distances some will have to travel, it gets expanded into a weekend social even with people usually staying over the Friday and Saturday nights.

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=131877 will give you more details.

To be honest it's the camping out and boozing that appeals to me!

If you turn up on a Triumph you'll be in the majority.

Sorry this thread has been highjacked by the bloody English!
Well I would say that but it's neither politically correct nor in fact true because at least two of the contributers are not English.
And I'm from Essex so it doesn't count.

So, are any of you coming? I'll buy a beer for the furthest travelled!
