maybe
Did it bluescreen?
If so you may have memory dumps enabled. Look on your harddrive for a memory.dmp in c:\winnt or c:\windows.
If you have one I can analyze the contents for you and maybe give you a clue. Often its down to a specific driver.

I've found something called :-
Mini071509-01 in C:\Windows\Minidump
What should I open the file with so that I can post its contents for you to try to analyze ?

I would need the file as it is. If you zip it what size does it end up? I'll PM you my email address to send it over if its not massive.
There is nothing in this memory dump that points to a specific driver as the cause but from what I can gather it appears that there was some problem reading or writing a part of the paging file (disk based memory file) to disk. Somehow this became corrupted and displayed the blue screen.
Do you get these blue screens regularly? Have there been any recent changes to the system?
Might be worth you doing an integrity check on the hard disk in case either it or the disk I/O controller is showing signs of failure (instructions here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/tips/kbtip.mspx)). Now might be a good time to back up that important stuff you've been meaning to for ages.
If it occurs again send me a copy of the latest crash dump file and I'll open it up and take a look.
My guess so far is a bad hard disk sector causing a page file corruption.
