As a regular doom monger I say this

'St. Swithin's day if thou dost rain
For forty days it will remain
St. Swithin's day if thou be fair
For forty days 'twill rain nae mair.'

Now depending where you were in the UK on Wednesday (as St Swithins is on the 15th july) is what you'll get at the AR.

Yep it rained didn't it on St Swithins day...

The new Met office is about 10 miles from where I live & they can't even get it right for the next day on their own patch :)

May i lie down on this sofa then Doc? Thanks.

Well my father used to bundle me into a burlap sack and beat me with telephone cord. Then he would release me and i'd have to fight with our 8 dogs for scraps of food off the floor.
Later he had burried ma alive for 5 days and thats what made me the man i am today.

So, whats the analysis doc?

The specially formulated, ultra-modern wizz bang forecast system used in the Messie household, says it's going to be dry and warm!!

And anyone else who thinks or says otherwise SMELLS!

Rumour has it that Messie has arranged some extra big tents, so if you have a really leaky tent you just pitch it underneath them.

After years of kitesurfing I'm far more inclined to believe windfinder than metcheck or the BBC, they're forecasting a bit of rain on saturday evening...

I dont mind a sort of light rain, but I wont be too happy about riding if its heavy stuff. the weather forcast seems to be chopping and changing every 2 minutes at the moment!!

Maldon area is one of the lowest rainfalls in the UK. Often when the slight possibility of rain is forecast it remains dry-------Keeping fingers crossed for everybody for Sat
