Just a heads up that my brother topped up his works transit van up with Diesel fuel from St Neots Tesco. He spent the last few hours at the side of the road waiting for recovery. RAC come and they found the fuel in the tank contained 60% water. Before he broke down I was shopping at Tescos and at the checkout I noticed they had cones across the forcourt and someone was turning everyone away.

It maybe a one off, freak incident and it might be just this one place that is effected but I just thought I would pass the info on to keep people aware if nothing else. :)

Im a diesel snob.. I only use the finest... the sort that you would use in a Ducati.

I do however only use shell when I can, no idea why... Just do.

I have recently started using only non supermarket forecourts after reading somewhere that the fuel is of a 'lesser quality', it costs a couple of pennies extra a litre, but I'm get more miles per tank so for the extra £1 - £1.50 for filling the tank of the Civic I am getting around 40 extra miles a tank, possibly 50 if I drive differently.
