Went out to get some photos for a Graphics project i have over the summer. I need to produce mock promotional pieces for Norton and thought some great backdrops from the Peak District would be great for some posters or the like. Now i know my bike is not a Norton but i can easilly Photoshop a Norton logo on if needs be. ;)

All of the pictures were taken around the Derwent Reservoir in the North of the Peak District.

Lovely pics... I`ll mark that down as a place to visit on a day off. I`m not sure but I think we might have had a rideout to Derwent winter before last? I can remember black ice and being warned of its presence but luckily nobody went down!

Forgot to mention, it's the place where the Dambusters did thier practice runs during the war.

It looks stunning as you look across the dam, and it just drops away like an infinity pool. All you see behind are thousands of trees along rolling hillsides.

The Western turret of Derwent dam houses a Dambusters Museum - small, but well worth a visit. They also show some of the construction of the dam.
Park where Quiff ( nearly ) sorted out his bike's fuelling & walk about 200 yards upstream.
