View Full Version : Baldgits hugger/shock protector. MUST HAVE PURCHASE!
alright guys,
bought one of bald gits little mudguard thingies a week ago, it arrived yesterday and all i can say is BUY ONE! took five minutes to fit including removing my old hugger! anyone with reservations about buying one, stop being a prat and get one! they are spot on, thanks again dude!

yer a picture would be nice aalso is it a hole hugger or just like a flap to cover ur shock and dog bones ??
alright guys, i'll take a picture later on today, its a replacement shock protector Nicky s but with a lot more style than the stock one!
I have one on my bike. Here's a couple of pic's.

Should do a better job than the stock ones if not look nicer
I like mine... does the job, looks good and hasn't caused me any problems at all.... that includes two-up fully loaded for camping.
A cheque will be heading bald git's way tomorrow; I'm happy to post pics once fitted if anyone's interested.
P.S. New to the forum (hi!) will introduce myself and my SV to you guys properly at some point.

i want one were can i get it from and how much ?? also how dose it fit is it jsut a bolt or cable ties ??? also will they fit a curvey

Mines on a curvy nicky. so easy to fit just one Allen bolt and jobs done!
Get one, you won't regret it! It's also cool that it's one of us making it and not some rip off merchant company!
Oh it's baldgit selling them. £35 including postage!

Got one too - mighty fine ! He makes them himself so just tell him what you're riding when you order. He's now also doing one in carbon for around £70 which looks really smart

hiya, thanks for nice words fellers, carbon version was a one off, sold it on flea bay and it was a right little sod to make. if i had hair i would have pulled it out and used it in the lay up. zigrat, you left gorgeous mini hugger of off your signature LOL.
