How slowly do you ride if something which sits behind you has dead flies on it ?

Sorry guys it appears notifications have been going to my secondary e-mail account. This box fits a pointy. Matt_rehm_hext: I've already had a PM so I'll get back to you if he decides he doesn't want it.

Thanks,

Pete

IIRC, it's 32 litres. I have the same one, and it's absolutely fab. Lifts off on turn of a key, like a wee suitcase, and totally watertight.

i know its sold but when u lift it off.. to take in to a hotel B and B for example.. then isnt all your under rear seat exposed? so do u need to carry the pillion seat inside and displace some space? or is it on a seperate plate that remains on?

its a seperateplate that locks the same as a pillion seat, i think...

Can't believe I missed this, especially at that price. :(

Long shot, but if everyone else drops out, I'll take it!!!

Wow, there is a pillion adapter thingy that locks on to your pillion seat fixings, so you click this on and off the plate, and you have to take the plate off and fit the pillion seat if you need it.

It's really solid, I never take pillions anyway, so it suits me, but it's a 2 min job to put seat back on.

It's now sold and judging by phil24_7's reaction I didn't ask enough for it! There is a plate that stays on the bike but it is pretty ugly. I usually put the pillion seat back when I wasn't using it.

You can see the plate pretty well in this pic.

They usually go for about £70 when they turn up on eBay! Missed out on a couple that have gone, on here, for £50-ish quid. :(
