Worth a Meet?

Just thinking out loud and I know we have our fortnightly meet at the Farmers Arms but I`m wondering how many people would be interested in some sort of a regular meet in Southport? well not quite Southport, more like near the beach in Ainsdale? :D

I know it would be quite local for some of us but I`m just wondering what the others think?

The pub in question has good parking, does food and has a pool table. I`m not particularly thinking of a night time meet as in nice weather this pub would be really nice to sit outside? The manageress is wanting to try and make this pub a bikers pub so it might be worth a look at some point.

Me me me i know the one your are on about perfect for a meet with its pool table and ample parking right outside its ace on a nice day or evening :D, come on guys and gals you know you want too, we might even start something off that might catch on :cool:, i know the manageress who luvs bikes. Goodone speedy for suggesting this one.. :smt023its also is a stones throw away from the beach so plenty of passing totty lads ;) oh and has a lake behind it cool place all in all.

Are you thinking of the pub where Coastal road crosses Shore raod? i.e. the entrance to ainsdale beach?

i recon its an ideal place for a new biker meet, Good location, pool table, plenty of passing totty,cold beer or whatever takes your fancy, plenty of parking it only needs someone to start it and before you know it its a regular haunt.

Weekend or weeknight ? sorry think you,ve already mentioned weekend but just asking, sounds good tbh, problem with such a large region is limited time for weekenight meets, a nice sunny sunday afternoon might be good fun though.

ok shall we look at one evening next week? or would people prefer a daytime meet? I`m thinking that if we were to look at meeting at, say, 7ish if people want food they can get it there then just spend a couple of hours gabbing?

Thats great Nobby... I think that there could potentially be room for a fortnightly meet here in our agenda. I think a few peeps are having problems getting to the Farmers so if we could maybe meet in Southport on the opposite week to the farmers it might be a success. If it`s a nice place we could then maybe look at having a bigger meet there one weekend?

What does anyone else think?

Thats this friday out for tme then sorry. Actually i just remembered i am having my tooth pulled so i doubr i will be riding anywhere.
