I've sorted that bit for you

A mug would be useful. We should be able to make tea and coffee etc, but your own mug would help a lot ( and if you like our own srtange tea bring a bag of it, we'll only have the basics)

I'm living in the isle of man no alarms here :( so i'm was relying on Pawwwwllll's £20 plastic piece of crap (not a proven fact as of yet) disc lock would do the job to deter owell we'll see ahaha i already dropped my bike, not much else you yobs can do to it on grass i didnt do by dropping it into the neighbours van and on my drive.

A thief would need massive balls to try to steal a bike when theres a good 100 bikers there. They ain't gonna get very far....

I think he'd be reduced to a pile of broken bones, bruises and with ophics dog chewing his **** for even thinking it.

Can i get a spot away from Blueflame if the snoring is legendary? I need some sleep :P

Spiderman
28-07-09, 11:28 AM
I mentioned to Messie about having a Snorers Corner of the field as i remember a couple of years ago thinking their was a wild animal lurking round the campsite somewhere snorting and grunting and just waiting to pounce. Until someone pointed out the noise was comming from inside a tent

So all you snorers please ask for your VIP section when you arrive.

Also, i have a major sense of humour failure if anyone starts messing with my bike, drunk or sober. So if you wanna mess with someones bike please dont let it be mine. You may find the pyromaniac side of me comes out and your tent melts around you as you sleep while your bike quietly smoulders in the fire pit.

I'm sure i'm not the only person who doesnt like people messing with their bike and reading about a recent event where bikes were moved and all the kefuffle that came from that i really hope all this talk of moving bikes is just tongue in cheek sillyness and everyone is sensible enough to not really do this.

God i hate having to sound like a grown up and having just read the above, i do. :(

It's different when it's you're mates that are doing it.
I didn't mind that mine got moved, we always take the **** of each other.
I seem to be on the recieving end more than most ;)

Spiderman
28-07-09, 12:09 PM
Nah, its not even funny when its your mates that do it imo. There are things you mess with and there are things you dont mess with. My bike is one of those things i dont like anyone messing with.

God i sound like a right grumpy git now.

Viney, please don't confuse us with the list of things you need for your forthcoming weekend in Wales.

SUNGLASSES! And suntan lotion. That's what we'll be needing at the AR.

For the pale and dotty people, it's very important.

SK: +100 points for generosity, +100 for having great camping equipment on hand, -eleventy million for it being compact and easily transportable on a bike.:D

Thankfully Jo doesn't have to wear that lot on her back for the way up:cool:.

Query, sounds silly, but is anyone definatly bringing a pump for airbeds? Otherwise I'm bringing a heavy sleeping mat :D

I bought myself a self inflating mat at Millets because I'm a double 'ard b****** who likes sleeping on the floor;)

But millets also do mini 12V cigarette lighter pumps for about a tenner, my bike has two lighter sockets if people want to plug something in to pump up a bed quickly:cool:
