me is not a car follower;; although I have a nice car.. however my knowledge is poor-

but came out of Dunelm today shocked that curtains will be £500 for the lounge!! and thinking cant justify it when next to my car had parked this..

well it right put me on a downer as well as nearly made me fill me pants. oh MY GOD.. it was beautiful.. a work of art- I loved it.. then moaned all the way home to mrs that I cant afford 300 squid for curtains let alone 500 ! and someone has a .what..? £100K car there?

please tell me what it is so I can look it up on the net and aspire to it.. and any further info you know about said car.

ta mighty org.

ERR ME KNOW ITS A FERRARI SMART AR$SES IT SAID IT ON IT.. but which type.. oh cream leather with logo in headrest-- ace it was.. dash to die for..and a baby seat in the back.. luuckkkyy baby ..

Mandy said- oh there was a reaallyy good looking guy in Dunelm .. I bet its his.. which prompted a huff from me and why cos he good looking should he have a ferrari and what are you doing noticing a good lookin sod anyway etc etc.. she just laughed.

That looks to be the Ferrari California.

It has a weight distribution of 47% to the front and 53% to the rear. It does about 193mph with a 0 - 62 time of about 4 seconds. Under the bonnet it has a 90 degree V8 with fuel direct injection. :D

with fuel direct injection. :D

i now want to take this car apart and look inside the engine, mmmm

engine techies; I've heard that on direct injection diesals that if you run out of fuel and start having the injectors pump air through, this can destroy the injectors, leading to a heft repair bill. Is this true of direct petrol injection engines?

I am very proud to say I overtook a Ferrari at the weekend going to work! I did lol in my helmet :-)

Shame it was coming to a halt, as it was waiting for his mate to catch up :-(
There was an asian wedding going on locally and the youngsters like to ride around in style for the day, and you usually find half a dozen quality cars driving in groups with wedding ribbons attached 8)

Yes, Ferrari's do that, it's F430 Scudmissle for me though thanks!Sadly they dont have the same effect on me. The restarunt that i had my birthday in, had one parked outside. I can take it or leave it. If it was a lamborghini then that would be a different matter. A Jalpa or a Muria, or even a countash would do. Id settle for the last of the Murculagos though (I know i cant spell them ;))

Correct Aston Martin V8 Vantage 1977-1989. Now apparently they are making a new V8 Vantage http://www.astonmartin.com/eng/thecars/v8vantage

Could be 2 things at play, either the air in the injectors actually combusting with remaining fuel, or lack of the lubrication from the fuel.

Either way, a petrol injector would be more resiliant since a flame front has a harder time reaching places than a pressure increase, and a petrol injector must cope with petrol, which is not a good lubricant.

That said, I dunno, other than that running out in a normal diesel (all "direct injection" in a way), isn't instant failure time.

That is a car for the more discerning connoisseur, rather than the "look at the shiny, shiny" carbon fibre licking mongoloid.

This guy (http://www.travelmonkeys.net/wp-content/uploads/2006/images/PraugeandEurotrip_AC56/EuroTripItalianmassage2.jpg) = a ferrari.

My old man works for Astons, said all the employees were shown the neww 177, nothing even touches it in his opinion.

The latest V8 Vantage is very very nice, he got taken round the test track and on the bank they clocked 164mph with him and the test driver in it. He had said about the V12 Vantage the other day.

I love a good exotic car as much as the next bloke but is there only me who thinks this car is ugly? i think it looks over designed.

The front lights remind me of those off of the Nissan GT-R, although a very nice car in it's own right, I wouldn't want my Ferrari to look like a Nissan. they also look a bit cheap and nasty in that chrome finish.

I don't like the rear lights or the chavtastic bonnet scoop either but that's just my pov.

Now these to me are really pretty cars, the obvious thing here is each to their own etc etc.

The Lambo Murcielago LP 670-4 Superveloce, which I believe to be that last time we'll see the Murcielago. I recon I heard somewhere that it will be replaced with an all new model.

I was working in london on tuesday and decided to walk from Kings Road up through knightbridge and up park lane as it was a nice day.

I must have seen maybe £50m worth of cars.

I saw 3 seperate bugatti veyrons, and 3 seperate ferrari enzo, my batteries went dead unfortunately so could only get a few snaps.

While working at the Eurotunnel terminal in 2001 there were always TVR's being towed off trains coming in from France. They would get towed off the train then get taken to the garage to wait for recovery. One day I saw 8 in the car park waiting for recovery! But you're right, they do sound lovely...when they work:D

The white car in the back ground is a Masonary McClaren SLR GT

There is also an Masonary X6 Tycoon at the same hotel
