Sounds like CDO to me... you know... like OCD but with the letters in the right places like they SHOULD BE!!!

I wouldn't have even thought of that so may have been a little self diagnosis going on there...lol.

I have my few little things that are OCDish and in the kitchen I'm quite particular how I want things done. Doing Christmas dinner for 7 last christmas and I couldn't accept help. I have my way, my order and I'm quicker and better doing things myself and when it comes to food.......NO ONE is allowed to mess it up....lol.

lol, i forget that noone else knows my trail of thought sometimes and my questions can appear quite random. What I meant to say was....
I thought this thread was in reference to that event which is occuring where the orbit of Mars is going to be bringing it so close to earth that it appears in the sky similar size to the moon. Does anybody know when that is meant to be happening?

Randomness explaind. :D

Mars my @rse Those e-mails come around every few years, though there was a reasonably close (in astronomical terms) pass a few years ago.

I particularly like the idea that Mars will have the same apparent size as the moon. That would be interesting (for the few minutes before all life on earth ended and the solar system got a new asteroid belt).

You must understand......I make a wish if I see a clock read 22.22 or 05.05 etc....just me, I'm odd and I don't care!

My father died at 3:25 am on 28th February and I was at his bedside in intensive care (no sympathy posts required please it was about ten years ago), and for the following 3 or 4 years, every 28th February I would awake between 3:20 and 3:25 am and was awake to see the digital clock turn over to 3:25.

Accurate body clock being controlled by a subconscious mind? Or something spooky? About 5 years after he died I woke up on the morning of 28th Feb and commented to my wife about the fact I slept through, and I've slept all night on 28th Feb ever since.

Strange isn't it. Not the same, but do you also find that if you have to be up at stupid o'clock, earlier than normal or middle of the night to go catch a flight or something, you ALWAYS wake up 2 mins before your alarm???

Yes, anything up to 1/2 hour before, but I just don't sleep properly at all in that case, wake three or four times in the early hours to check the alarm hasn't failed to go off.

I used to be like that, but I've developed such a confidence in it now I sleep normally. Then again, I do have a thing about how I set the alarm on my phone each night...always make Stretchie giggle. I have to set it, go back to the menu screen, set again, go back to menu screen, check it, go back to home screen, then check again. It's a pain in the ar$e but if I don't do it, I cannot for the life of me fall asleep.

Ahhhhhhh!! Blonde moment AGAIN! No, with me being a bit OCD it is very very very rare I don't get my purple gloves on (I buy my own cos we get provided with rubbish ones!) because I would freak out if I touched a minging person without gloves.

A normal person could bleed on me all they want and I wouldn't freak out too much but I don't like germs.....eurgh! Making m skin crawl just thinking about it!

I have a total freak out everytime I touch rails and things in subways or buses, or even handles of shopping baskets!

If I sit down on a bus or a tube, then back home I will not sit on my bed in that pair of trousers/jeans. I find london transport filthy at the best of times & wouldn't want to contaminate my happy space with that filth.....but I doubt that's that's an OCD - just common sense.

I also won't use pens after someone else has been using them. It all stems from when I was at school and when I first started playing the drums I would use the school sticks. I got a whole lot of warts and things and I started using my own sticks. since then I hate the thought of all the germs other peoples hands have!

Same goes for type of beer, food and most of the time women.
