Is called The Sands Pub and is in Ainsdale near Southport... on the roundabout near the coast road and right opposite Pontins :D

The manageress is wanting to make this place a bikers pub so if anyone can make it along there i`ll be there say, 7 to 7.30. They do food tho not sure what its like.

Would be great to see some of you there.

This place needs to get some flyers printed if they are wanting to become a regular stop point for bikers and get down the front in southport on a sunday. It was heaving yesterday!

il put that to the manager, as we discussed bikers can be stuck in the ways and creatures of habit i,e going to the same place each week, ive found when ive been parked up there, that bikes attract more bikes as im sure would happen on wednesday. So how many people are up for going obviously assuming its not monsoon season again...

Claire... It took me 45 minutes to do that poster and 40 of them were spent looking for an sv. I was looking for the cartoon style one... but couldnt find one any where!!

BTW Mototech found out this pub does not do food after 2pm (bummer) so eat before you arrive

manager said that if bikes started coming in enough numbers they would start doing food/bbq to cater for them, everything starts somewhere i guess can only try these things...

I can't make it now, my SV has no fairings :(

They're off being touched up and polished at PSG in Burscough....he's had the bikini fairing and lhs lowers since my off and has done a great job in repairing them, so I thought before I go on my hollibobs, I'd drop the replacements I got from ebay off with him to polish out the scratches etc.

Now he has all my fairings and my bike is renedered u/s until I get back from hols :(

I was tempted to make an appearance... but probably won't as they don't do any food.

There aren't any half decent roads getting there from where I am so it's a boring trek just to say hello, especially after having to eat before setting off.

Mr Tom you must get over to meet us soon and I felt it was actually quite a nice place to sit and chill... we had a grandstand view of all the bikes going to the carousel and the Scotch Piper... was really entertaining :thumleft:

Yeah it is a prity chilled place and being right on a roundabout offers great views of all the heros going upto the carousel... never seen one get there knee down though lol...

Yep, a BBQ in summer and basic chips & burgers for winter with cheaper drinks for bikers will go down better than doing nothing but wanting a biker pub. A big screen to watch motorsports would also be a good idea ( if they have not got one already ). If the manageress actually works at it she will get the business.
You can also add ( this is a thought for Mototech ) have a mobile mechanic there on certain days for tune ups and small jobs.

some good ideas there guys i will pass them all on, its upto her what she does with them, my mate sami Z&R Motorcycles was meant to be popping up for a chat last night but couldnt make it in time, but thats certainly a good idea for him if he wanted to participate, i think that with anything like this if you want to try an idea you have to be bold say right this coming wednesday or whenever there will be a bbq etc at the sands and as already mentioned get some flyers printed up, then if it works it works if it doesnt not much has been lost but at least they tried.

If they did food then I'd have been up there yesterday evening. Any evening meets I want to be able to grab a snack at without having to leave (the sometimes small group of people) to go and get a bag of chips elsewhere etc.
