Got back this morning from my couple of days away, so thought I would share them. Sorry they are a bit dark, but the weather wasn't too good & they were taken on my Phone.

It was strange because every corner you went round it was "wow, take a picture". The place is beautiful, need to go again & take some more in. I had only been to Windermere before never ridden around.
The towns were packed which wasn't my scene so I was always looking for quiet spots

Woohoo. Going here for a long week end in the August bank holiday.
Staying in seatoller down from Keswick and one of the best roads there is just around the corner (Honister Pass, Look it up)
Sorry to hear the weather wasn't the best.

Hardknott and wryenose???
I have only ever been over these in a car and that was hairy enough, cant imagine what it'd be like on a bike - change of undies definitely required me thinks!!

Wasn't too worried about the weather, the views made up for it. I will certainly be visiting again :)

It was strange because every corner you went round it was "wow, take a picture".
It's commonly called the Struggle round these parts.
if you want quiet try looking up the west side of the lakes, do wrynose and hardknott then goto gosforth up over calder fell then hit honister pass from the west . tis an absolute peach for views.
