Jambo linked me to this, thats a really cool picture! I'm dabbling with close-up photography today. How much did the close-up lense cost?

Cheers...got mine free with a second hand lens but there is one on ebay right now 280381290211 is the item code. Costs very lil and will half the distance at which your lens can close focus. The one on ebay is a 58mm so you may need a adaptor ring to mount it on your lens/lenses.

Lovely. I have the same body and lens as you - might look into getting that filter you mention.

Cool...the Nikon D90 has plenty of resolution with that lens and i used it at f13, iso 800 but had no problem cropping the pic and quality did not suffer much.

Be warned that if you buy regular close up filter you are more likely than not going to get strong purple fringing which is why you are better getting a close up that is of the achromatic type as the quality is a huge increase.
