View Full Version : Not going on holiday after all
:(
Anne has a heavy cold, sudden high temperature, headache from hell, and feverish. The doc said he could not rule out the pig flu and has advised to stop home - we were going to see MIL in Falmouth. Anne felt that it would be unfair to impose bugs on her ma, so home we stop.
I worked like stink last week - and a lot of the weekend - to get things done, and now I feel cheated:( It was cos we were going on hols that I didn't go to the AR.
Life's a bitch innit:rolleyes:

I'd still go, take the bike instead now your going solo, forget the MIL and enjoy a few pints and lunch down at Pandora's Inn. I miss Falmouth
Spend your week at home, lock the doors and pretend you're not in, picnics in the lounge etc! I've done that before!!

That is a definite maybe:D Depends whether I've got the lurgy by then. And on whether we're going to Wales, hint hint on which option I prefer.

Sorry to hear that Ed, really hope that she gets better soon. I have just had a dose of that piggy flu thing and felt like death, poor Carol spent a few days looking after me while trying not to catch it herself.
My top tip for the week, stay away from work, you no doubt need a break and do something relaxing with out going too far and having to worry about your wife too much to enjoy it.
Send her the combined love of the Org and she will get well pretty soon.
Hugs,
Jayne

I start my two weeks off at the end of the week but the guy two desks from me has just been ordered to go home by his boss as he was really looking green. What's the betting I will be "doing an Ed" and staying home as well?
Oh well, at least I won't be at work!
Hope you get to enjoy something on your time off Ed. And if you're anywhere near the Flower Festival next Friday (assuming I'm not in bed with flu) let me know.
