SOLD!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to purchase a near new Yellow 1999 SV650S (hang on, sounding a bit too much like a salesman there!)
Its only done just over 2k miles since new so it really is still like new, but....(well there's always a BUT isn't there)
Anyhow, here's the story.......
A chap in the village where I live in Worcestershire bought it brand new and had covered all of 1400 miles when he had a low speed off. Not being a true motorcyclist, this put him off so he left it in his garage gathering dust along with a few replacement genuine parts to make good the (superficial) damage.
I took it off his hands and have now got it back running and on the road (althought its SORNed at present) I have used it a few times to commute to work whilst I was changing the engine on my vtec and it does feel as good as a new 'un, it really does.
The bad news - the tank has a small dent and there are scratches on the exhaust can and offside fork leg (lower) and front wheel and the odd scratch here and there but it has a couple of new fairing panels and footrest.
The scratches are minor and I'd be happy to live with them but if you're a perfectionist it could be made an absolute minter for a few quid.
I did buy it for my wife to ride but she's gone off the idea now so its up for sale which is a pity cause I quite like it!
I'm looking for £1200 for it. PM me for more details etc.
I'll take some pics when/if it stops raining
