Just watching Simpson of Channel 4.
Groundskeeper Willy just said and I quote
'I've reviewed all of the new tractors...they're all ****e.'
At 6.25pm! That can't be right can it?
EDIT Even the org swear filter has not allowed it!

Probably not but it won't stop them, it's happened before numerous times. One of them made the news about a year ago:
The Simpsons: Channel 4 apologises for pre-watershed swearing (Monday 9 June 2008 15.33 BST ) (http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/jun/09/channel4.ofcom)

I remember the first time they showed the Ramones episode (Burn's Birthday), there was a warning of bad language. Because the Ramones say "This gig ("vacuums" -Ed)." "Yeah, ("fornicate") you, Springfield." followed by "Go to ("heck" -Ed.) you old ("child born out of wedlock" -Ed.)"
Yeah - I heard that & thought the same thing (god, I'm getting old!!!).
I just assumed that they got around the American censor because the censor couldn't understand Groundskeeper Willy's accent.

Funnily enough when I saw it I did think they might get a few complaints for that
Especially as they edit out so much of the tiny bit of bad language or adult themed jokes the Simpsons does have

I'm sure that most kids who go to school know all the common swear words anyway. I'm not condoning it, but words that we once considered taboo are now commonplace in everyday language.

The ironies here that he's voiced by an American actor, and that every Scot I know say they grind their teeth at his 'accent', which is the worst 'Scottish' accent since Shrek.

Im totally with you Bluewolf. Im actually scottish myself but due to my dad being in the forces never got the accent.
But your right, there are people that can't do a scottish accent to save their lives, but then there are people who can do a scottish accent really really well...but they still can't speak scottish.
Its something about it. The way they choose their words that when they go together sound scottish.

If he was looking at Fords & Massey Fergusons, then I think it is fair enough, if, however he was looking at John Deeres then it is definitely wrong

:stupid:..and Braveheart...
I think there's a common misconception that a Scottish accent is easy to do, just stick in a few "hoots mon"s and the occasional "jings" and you're an expert. Not true though, there's a lot more to it than crass streotyping.
But the single longest running really bad Scottish accent has to be Mr Scott from the original Star Trek. Even makes me cringe. Even more than real Scottish accents! :smt019
only joking BW! I love Scottish really!

Yep, slur your words and throw in a 'where's me haggis' now and again and you're getting pretty close :p

Always find it funny that South Park needs to bleep out the "F" word whilst the whole plot revolves around something like, erm, "milking" dogs, or Oprah Winfrey's "special lady bits" acquiring a pistol and having a mexican stand off with the police, or snorting cat **** and taking an acid style trip to the Nipplopolis - but oooh no we can't let the little dears hear the "F" word, that'd warp their fragile little minds.

MiniMatt, a good point well made as usual mate.
A couple of years ago my neice and nephew had come over to stay the weekend, she was about 4 and he was about 7. South Park came on and i naturally jumped for the rmote and changed the channel. Went out the room and when i came back they had it on again. I was abut to tell em off when it turned out it was Auntie who has allowed it and said "Its ok, their mum lets them watch it at home"
Now either their mum had never watched South Park herself or had suffered a mini nervous breakdown when she made that decision, so i told the kids there was no way their (favourite until just this second) uncle was gonna let them watch it.
We came to a compromise whereby they could watch it with the sound off..... and as you say, even the the visual imagery left me going :smt107
And i love South Park myself so its not an anti south park thing, try watching an episode with no sound and its still dirty as hell, lol.
