Posted by me as part of this (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=135968&page=2) thread on 20th July

Anyone driving anything Korean or of that ilk.

If your so disinterested in cars that you'd buy one of them, then there's a good chance they are completely disinterested in driving and therefore make no effort to drive properly.

Just watching Top Gear series 13 episode 7 on iPlayer, first on air on 2nd August. Go watch it (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00m196z/Top_Gear_Series_13_Episode_7_(new_series)/)and see the conversation at 16 minutes and 20 seconds.

Co-incidence???

Someone on here does work with James May, but not specifically on Top Gear!

Maybe James learnt it from him/her and it came up in casual conversation with Jeremey who decided to use it?! ;)

Clarkson quotes me ALMOST word for word. Do I get any royalties? Or a day out playing at Clarkies Stag-World would do! :D

Just got to 45 minutes. Whilst doing the cool wall Clarkson says

"you are mistaking this for a democracy, it's not, it's a dictatorship"....

They have definitely been on the org! ;)

Ralph, I think I love you!

I won't have the chance to watch Top Gear for another few days though. But when I watch it, I'll spare a thought for you (not in that way though, sorry!!).

they arn't copying us too much, else every time they had a problem with one of their cheap cars they'd have fixed it with either a) a fender extender or b) new reg rec

Am I the only one that thought the advertising section of last week's show was a waste of time?

Hello all. My first post here. I'm a researcher for the BBC for many of their television programs.

I feel you deserve a response about this. There are many of us who scour the internet for 'inspiration' for the content to the BBC's programs. This is just one of the many forums we have come across that are useful for this.

Sorry if you feel cheated. It's just my job.

Regards, Mark from the BBC.

So if you do really work there, are you gonna get us a shout out on Top Gear then?

I'm afraid i don't really have the power here to get a shout out i'm afraid.

I'm currently supposed to be helping on a program about pregnancy.

I shouldn't really be chatting to you folks, but if no one knows it won't matter.

There are normally about 12 of us but, ironically, one of my colleagues is having time off due to pregnancy. She's having twins.

So come on guys, i need info on pregnancy for my research portfolio. ; )

In the scientific world, we call it "plagarism", and many academics have been struck off because of it

plagarism - from the Latin plagiare, "to kidnap"

can you plagiarise a persons opinion?
