To change, put the reading to odo and hold down the adj button for a few seconds. (I think)

as above... but do it whilst the bike ignition is on ....

as I've seen people trying to do it with the ignition off... just a thought.

Most bikes don't normally have different tyre pressures recommended for two-up, but if you wish you can up the pressures a couple of psi from your normal values.

People find they have personal preferences with different tyres etc anyway, try it and see how it feels to you. I recommend carrying your own gauge, even if it's known to be inaccurate, simply so you can be consistent during the trip. I carry a pencil gauge (takes up nil space) which I know over-reads by a couple of psi, but at least I know that it's wrong, forecourt gauges are unknown quantities.

I don't think the passenger pressures vary much with the sv.
Maybe an extra 2 psi around 38?

how do i go about changing my speedo from mph to kph?

1 - sell pointy
2 - buy curvy

My nice simple analogue speedo has both on the dial.

Can you change an imported pointy SV from kms to miles using this method?

I think it is a UK Spec thing, but it can't hurt to try.

Just in case anyone checks this thread looking for the same info as I was - no you cant change it back to MPH from KPH if the bike started its life on the continent :(

I am probably going to use one of these (http://www.worldofpower.co.uk/Motorcycle-Accessories/Bike-Accessories/Speed-Converters-and-Recalls/sc1366/p2850.aspx) while I wait for some similarly mileage clocks to appear on ePay.
