Hey peeps this is a bfore and after shot off my poor SV. Here are pics off it ill lol.

Here it is 2 weeks later pretty much as good as new. I know the decals won't be too everyones taste but i did A) to cover my spraying of panels because it wasn't brilliant and B) to cover scratches from where it had slid down the road. I think it looks good.

You are right it does look really good :cool:. You repaired it pdq esp after the way it looked after your off. Sorry to hear about that. Did you do it up all by yourself?

hey yea i did apart from i gave my panels to my mate to fibreglass for me as they were cracked. He gave me them back and i sanded , wet and dried them primered and sprayed them back up then go tthe decals off ebay for £21 to cover scratches and blemishes lol.

just got to repair lower fairngs and spray them and put my remaining decals on then should look even better

Not the sort of thing that I would put on my bike, but hey, if you like them that is all that matters.

As you say the decals serve a purpose too in covering the scratches and paint job. Looks good :cool:

Well done. I admire your spirit taking on the challenge of fixing it up yourself, then doing a good job of it.

Those stickers on that bike look good.

Makes you wonder why insurance premiums are so high for young people. If a cage gets damaged it's usually the cagers fault and claimed on their insurance, if the bike gets binned by the rider, he's either not covered anyway (TPFT) or not wanting to claim and loose NCB and he's fixing it up himself anyway. There must be a significant difference between the number of bike accidents and the number of claims.
