At the head of the Elan valley. What a fantastic place. Just before the bridge (see next pic down), I saw a 'Failed to Stop'. There was a Zafira holding everyone uyp, too narrow and twisty to get past, and when the road narrowed still furhter and there was oncoming, the driver stopped in the midfdle of the road. Oncoming Audi struggled to get past, mainly on the grass and bracken, and door mirrors whacked. Audi drove on, Zafira mirror in pieces on the road. Well what do you expect if you stop in the middle of the road:rolleyes:

And it's here that I misunderstood Mike's instruction to pull into the layby as an instruction to ride on. Got separated... tsk, but with engine running, ears ringing from the can, and plugs in, it was a bit difficult to hear anything. Will know for next time!!

Good photo's guys. Come to think of it after all that shouting at foreign Volvo's and racing the camera's timers across car parks, I haven't seen the photo's from the Conwy run two weeks ago. Has anyone posted any?

ME!!

At the the top of the elan valley..... I just couldnt creep up close enough to actually get hold of one of the sheep.


Nar... i just fancied a lie down and when i did i totally vanished from sight... then some one niticed i wasnt there and shouted to see where i had vanished to... Possibly speedy. Needless to say when i popped up about 15 foot from them it did cause quite a giggle! :)

Was a ride from N. Wales, so not entirely local to you ;) Check the south west surfers sections for South Wales based rides. Hovis has organised quite a few this year.
