My guitar hero dies aged 94. Without him rock/metal would not be the same.

Ye, many say he was a rather large cog in the rock 'n' roll machine. A lot of mates bum his guitars and no doubt he's a musical legend.

RIP.

Even more importantly than giving a guitar to the rock and roll world. He also was the first person to experiment with multitrack recordings therefore giving everything to the music industry.

RIP Big Man

Sad day- he brought us one of the world's greatest guitars, loads of fantastic music and multitrack recording to.

A loss to the world of music.

I can't say I enjoyed his music, but the gibson guitar bearing his name and his design input is an icon of the music I love.

I have a replica, made by Vintage (cheap but still very nice)...I got it just so I could feel, for a moment, I was a gutiarist greater than I'll ever manage to be.

Thanks Les Paul, and RIP.
