Well after a week in Scotland, our tent has been leaking from the top, not at the seams but straight through the material. We tried using Nikwax to treat it and while it may have stemmed it in the lighter stuff, it couldnt keep out the heaviest downpours.

Had it around 5 years, Vango Venture 500 and its seen around 6-7 weeks worth of use in that time.

What you reckon, good value from the tent or should it last longer than 6-7 weeks?

Im contemplating retiring it...

Thompson's Water Seal. Get it from B&Q or Travis Perkins. Spray or brush it on.
