Little ford on today's ride out in search of the green lanes, Dave "The Wave" demonstrates how waterproof his road lid and vented leathers / boots are:

More footage of the lanes, including me almost stacking the ADV and someone who's not me ending up in a field to follow once I get in the mood and sift through the footage...
Grand day out was had by all, even the dog walkers smiled:eek::cool:

About another 40mph on top of that and he would have aqua planed right over the top of it......then again, he might not have! Looks like top fun.

Considering the bottom of the stream is covered with fist sized stones I'd go for not;)
Legend has it there's a brick in there too that can happily topple you over if you hit it...

Technically it doesn't matter what's on the bottom if you manage to aquaplane, however having tried to do it on several occasions, and only having succeeded once, I can say that in reality it most certainly does matter what's underneath!

When are you coming down to ride through the "puddle" on your SV?:p
Although with the lowered suspension and neon underlighting that looks so good in the McDonalds car park it might not be such a good idea;)

It serves it's purpose, as opposed to only making the bike heavier :smt043

Careful, you don't know what you're starting. Answering with pictures is definitely the Lone Wolf's area of expertise.....
