If it is the one which was in streetfighters a while ago then I daresay it could do with it juding by the engine spec.

Crabs are related to spiders maybe

Ya gotta hope they didn't stand in anything smelly... Seeing as they hook the chin of the helmet to the foot peg... Top bike has awesome spec, big block, blown and no pansying about with bodywork... I like their approach to oil-cooled monsters.

Last time I was in Pafos I visited the local "Orange County" type chopper builder there.Very friendly bunch.

Probably sheeps head. Traditional dish in many countries. In South Africa the dish is called "smiley".

I lived in Cyprus for a few years and just before I left in 2006 the police in Limassol took delivery of GSX-R 1000's. Standard apart from a couple of blue lights and a little tail pack to hold the speeding ticket books!!

I was talking to one of the coppers and his words were " nobody will get away from us now, 1000cc very fast we catch everyone"

At that point I laughed and walked away.

My Mum lives in Cyprus and when I visited her last year I saw one of those GSXR1000 police bikes. Got a picture of it with the policeman. What a cool job, cruising around on that all day!

Also in Limassol (IIRC) theres a motorcycle museum thats worth checking out.

I will check it out next time I visit!

Have to say there are a lot of nutter bikers, no helmet, no speed limit (anywhere) and some with 'poor' bike control (no licence?)

Sure it is silly hot out there and I would wear shorts and a T, but I would slow down a bit... as the locals are not the most caring of drivers either.

there was even a guy who [-o< before riding off without a helmet :reaper:

Is there anything legal/safe about it? silly Cypriot, she won't be pretty for long! :smt075 (ok, his RHS is protected with a helmet...)

I did also meet a lot of very nice locals there too and went to a wedding with +4000 people :smt030

the worst i ever saw was in the middle of summer a bloke riding a Gixer 1000 wearing shorts and flip flops and his helmet on his elbow. Yes only shorts and flip flops.

TO make matters worse he had a kid about 9 or 10 year old on the back that was wearing the same but he had a t shirt on as well.

I used to always wear my leather jacket when i went out as it gave me an excuse to ride up to the mountains for cooler air.

oh the mountains, loved it up there, it was a very nice relaxing place with great views! the roads were fun as well, even in a corsa car!

funny enough I did see two bikers with full kit up there :D on a KTM and something else, wasn't you was it?

We had fun driving over there when we rented a car. Went from the east side of the island, about 15 mins from Ayia Napa to Paphos and then the next day to Limassol. Everyone on the island drives like a loon! My Mum has a right laugh about them but says she always has to be on her guard when driving.
