I picked her up shiny and new nearly a couple of months back, 1,400 miles later she is still looking sweet. Now with a few extras. Namely a Carbon Can Co exhaust, K&N filter, Hamicad tail tidy, GLPRO gear position indicator and the cheapest of all- red rim tape.

Pictures are not great as they were just taken on the iPhone on my way back from a blast down to Banbury.

Enjoy :)

I would, but alas it's non-removable :( I'd have to chop it out.

On a separate note (sorry for derail), how the heck do you get photos off your iphone to your computer? I've not worked it out yet! :help:

Cheers,
Matt

Need to borrow any power tools to aid in its removal?

Just connect it to your PC via USB, then it will show in 'my computer'. You can just drag\drop or copy\paste from there.

Nah i've got them haha. I'm just scared :(

When you first turn the key it counts 0 through to 6 and back as a test. I managed to grab the picture on '6'.

And cheers mate.

I'll have to investigate about the baffle, i'm pretty sure it looks quite permanent.

from the pic m8 it looks like it has a nut an bolt on your exhaust holding the baffle in.

undo it and get some pliers on it and just keep twisting left to right, it will eventually come free. you could try some WD40 on it aswell to help things along.

when i first done mine i thought it was permenant, but from a little advice from Nobbylad i got it sorted.

i've looked at it before, looks like a rivet to me.

other option then is to drill it out, and get a suitable size nut and bolt to replace incase you need to put it back in.

Matt Cthink it looks the dogs in black. your clocks are showing full ''8'' figure digits as they do when you first switch on, however the first digit has a section missing. is this normal. i'm asking because its the same as mine and i thought my clocks were on their last legs.

Get a small gauge centre punch and give the rivet some solid thumps in the centre, then drill out the rivet. If the baffle is tight and won't budge with some decent sized pliers, give it a squirt of WD-40 or similar, leave for a few mins then attack again with pliers, with some twisting.

Once it's out, wrap in an old rag, stuff in a small plastic bag and shove under the seat along with a suitable sized selt tapping screw or bolt so that if plod ask you to put it back in, you can.

Removing the baffle is a safety feature that allows road users who haven't seen you, to hear you! :smt077

Yeah has been like that since new, and my SK4 was exactly the same.

haha, everyone is so determined that I should take it out.
