I'm selling to replace with a zx7r, it's got tax till the end of september, mot until end of July 2010. Went through last time with no advisories.
13500 miles approx
Fitted with Pilot Road 2ct's about 1500 miles ago
Braided Hel hoses
EBC HH pads at front
New standard rear pads
Rebuilt calipers all round
Chain and sprockets fitted last year
Colour matched undertray
Mini indicators
Small number plate (I have the original plate with a reflector for MOT)
Dark tint double bubble
Stubby Akro high level exhaust (the link pipe is off ebay and is a bit scuffed as you can see in the pictures)
Removable baffle to make it a lot quieter
Paddock stand bobbins
Data tag
Sigma alarm and Immobiliser
Right hand front fairing is cracked around the indicator and there's a couple of scuffs on this panel, I tripped over my foot when putting the bike into my garage d'oh! I've reinforced the inside with fibre glass so its solid, and you can barely see any damage.
As mentioned above the link pipe has a dent/scuff near the bottom. It's off ebay and I'm guessing the owner (of the pipe, not the bike!) chucked it down the road, it's not too bad though
Engine cover paint is a bit scabby on the right hand side, easy fix I just cant be rsed.
Otherwise cosmetically excellent.
Included in sale is the original exhaust silencer with a custom sleeve to reconnect and standard size number plate with reflector. I was 'asked' to refit these for the MOT, some places will be happy with the bike as it is, doesn't take 5 minutes to slap the legal parts on though.
This bike sounds fantastic, I frequently get compliments from other bikers and even car drivers at traffic lights on the noise. Pretty loud but the baffle makes it very much quieter, not much louder than standard.
It feels excellent to ride, the brakes are very powerful now and give a lot of confidence. When I had the new tyres fitted I couldn't believe the difference compared to the old road attacks. Much more grip in the wet, and more performance in the dry then I can handle!
Engine doesn't smoke, leak or make any unhappy noises, needs about 50ml of oil top ups every 1000 miles which is pretty excellent. Its always had regular oil changes, about every 3000 miles. Plugs and air filter where changed last year.
Always starts, has never broke down or had any reliability problems at all. Runs perfectly in the rain, I've sealed the front plug with grease.
