Well folks I'm getting there with the parts for the GSXR front end.

I need gsxr radial caliper bolts and some braided lines. If anyone has either or knows where theres an offer on either give us the nod ;).

Cheers Nick

You can reuse your SV brake lines

Thanks DD, I know that but I've got stock lines and thought as I'm changing the front end I might as well go to braided lines at the same time.

Guess no one has any ideas????

I have a brand new set of Hel lines (2-line kit, smoked cover and black fittings) - I ordered them too short for a GSXR/naked conversion, but they'll be a bit longer than stock. If you can live with that I'll part with them for £35 + shipping. They cost me £58 and have only been loosely test-fit w/o any fluid.

Right, not too sure about this. Will they fit mine or not? If they will I'll have them without a doubt. Mine will be a fully faired conversion onto radial brakes and tl1000s clip ons. Sorry to be slow just not done this sort of thing before.

They fit a radial caliper & OEM radial master, but from memory they're a couple inches longer than stock. I can measure if you like but don't have the stock length to compare with (Hel might?). Otherwise they should just have a bit more slack than standard, which shouldn't be a problem if you route it with a bit of care.

Here they are test fit- hard to see in the pic, but they were a bit too snug with the higher bars:

Don't want to pressure you though if you're not sure. I'll just chuck them on ebay otherwise.

cheers,
-Mike

I'll be keeping the SV master cylinder. I assume thats what you have on the picture, can't tell, wasn't going to change to a radial master cylinder from a GSXR.
My bars won't be so high therefore should fit mine. Can you meausre them and i'll measure mine? As long as there similar and they'll fit my master cylinder I'll have em.

That's a GSXR radial master in the pic actually. The fittings on that end are at a slight angle (maybe 15deg?) from memory, but I'll verify that along with the measurements (later this eve I would expect).

Argh sorry - been kept busy. Will try and grab it in the AM -they're out in the garage which is like Fort Knox now that I've had 2 bikes stolen :(

No worries mate let me know when you've got chance to look. There's no rush I've been putting the parts together now for what fells like years but it can only be about 6-7 months.

Two bikes stolen thats really bad luck. Hope the scum got caught.
