Ive been looking through all the older threads on these, but im struggling to find tail tidys for curveys. I really want rid of that huge lump of plastic on the back. anyone know where i might find them? do universal tail tidys fit?

your searching skills are weak old man;)

theres not much choice for the curvey, as you have to replace the undertray. there is a few peeps on here that have made there own out of a bit of ally, or i did the cheap option and just cut off the bits i did not like

(off to find some links for you)

looks like we have finally found a way where pointys are better than curveys. perhaps if i just cut off the crap, and fit a universal?

i did this

i was quite happy with the final attempt (part 4) but with the new numberplate laws, probably not the best idea now

but there is also pics of what others have done

curvys do not have tail-tidies, which explains the reason for not finding any, look on the powerbronze website for an undertray

hmmm. very expensive to just get rid of a bit of plastic crap. i prefer the idea of making my own. i'll let you know how it goes!

Pyramid do an undertray for a curvy that has mouldings on the back in the right shape to accept number plate and indicators. I have one to fit as a winter project, however will need some reinforcement fabricating to strengthen the mountings. Have noticed motrax do a universal tail tidy and a guy I met at the Paignton bike meet has some that may fit.
His website is www.spengineering.co.uk (http://www.spengineering.co.uk), not sure about price though.

I had a genuine suzuki undertray for my curvy, but it split. It was a 2 piece thing with a black plastic inner and a colour coded undertray, very expensive too...

A very common problem with the TCP undertrays, shame as they are very nice but at that price they should be better made.

I take it that you cannot swap a curvy back end for a pointy end?? I much prefer the rear lights on the pointy.. Im guessing I cannot swap them over? :(
