That is just sick, i hope they catch the bas*#rd that did it & dish out a sentence befitting the crime, trouble is he would probably only get a ban from keeping animals for the next few years.
Totally sickening.

That's just mind-blowingly sick:smt107
It's one thing attacking another human adult, a person who understands what's happening and can attempt to defend themselves, people like this are on a par with those who feel the need to murder babies, children, or someone who's mentally impaired, people who are trusting and don't know of anything as horrific as this...
Absolutely disgusting, knowing the kind of sentences that are metered out for this sort of thing, if he's caught, i hope karma comes round to catch him, preferably with an HGV carrying dog food...

A young chav Subaru driver who owns a staffy bull terrier. What a surprise  :toss:
So many:toss:'ers buy these kind of dogs 'cos they think it makes them look hard to have a bull terrier, really ****es me off.

Amen to that.....anyone that knows the breed knows that they are soft as shoite too!
These kind of chavs would seem more intelligent to me if they had a chihuahua on a lead.......now those really can be aggressive!!!
If you'r dog is misbehaving/untrained/vicious/fearful etc....it is the owner/handlers fault.........look in the mirror and give yourself a punch in the face!
My dogs are far from perfect....Hollie was used as bait for fighting dogs and had huge dog aggression and when Stig was a pup, I loved him and spoiled him too much and my ex was too harsh on him so he ended up human aggressive. Look at the pics of them at the AR and you can see the results speak for themselves. Learn how to handle a dog and it will become balanced and well behaved....whatever it's previous issues!
I hope this guy gets caught......he might not get a big sentence/fine/ban on keeping dogs......but he's going to get the beating of his life when he's named in the papers!!!

Probably they've realised that adding a post saying "I'd like to claw hammer the scumbags ghoulies" would not be overly helpful.

Maybe it's a case of not wanting to click a link.............I know I can't be bothered sometimes. Other than that.........some people get fed up with stories like this. Unfortunately....turning a blind eye allows people like this scumbag to carry on. I wonder how many people in Ebbw Vale will have a good idea who the man in his 20'3 - 30's is, but will not bother reporting him???
Just realised that might not have read the way I meant it to. What I mean is, I very often see bad stories come on the news and switch channels because sometimes I just cannot stand to watch when I know something is going to be terrible. That's what some viewers of this thread may be doing and perfectly normal IMO.
Then the point about turning a bling a blind eye....happens way too much!

It's about time some restrictions were put on animal ownership. People should need to be licenced to have an animal, animals should be registered to an owner (like cars)and chipped. That way in cases like this, an animals owner could be traced. Perhaps all pet animals need to be neutered and only licenced breeders allowed to have un-neutered animals.

That kind of thing makes me sick, I don't know the story but whoever did that, I hope they get what they deserve :(
Disgusting! I just don't understand what is wrong with some humans!

And there opens that massive can of worms....lol.
Totally agree with you though Madness. You used to haver to have a license to have a dog, not sure without doing a search why that ended. Microchipping is important and to couple that with registration would IMO, only be a good move. Maybe it would remove the need for a license.....you have to register and be accepted (based on space and ability to care for animals you are buying) and would be traceable in cases of theft, loss, injury, neglect etc.
Also......If chipping was done by breeders, who were made to take ID from and ensure registration of new owners, then when someone gets done for mitreatment, all animals could be seized.
Trouble is, it'll never happen. Great in theory, but could never be policed.

+1
It would never work, no matter how anyone tries to regulate anything, there is always someone who knows how to get around it...and always someone who is prepared to take the risk.
the best of it is they call the dog an animal!

I couldn't click on the link, I hate things like this!
Hit another guy on the head with a hammer, do not hit an animal.
I think people who can do this to animals (and children) are far sicker than your normal murderer. Animals look to us for love and for us to care for them. They do not see the badness, nor understand it, in us (a bit like children). They trust us.
At least we understand that some people are sick/evil and that some people are capable of these things, animals, and in particular, dogs, don't.

Whilst I wouldn't advocate this as a punishment, I'd happily administer a lethal injection to the sicko who did this.

MBK........I know what you mean. The justification in lower sentencing for animal cruelty is that animals are not human. What has been proven many times however is that mistreatment of humans is very often preceeded by mistreatment of animals.....so do the best for both and increase punishment!!!

When my horse was stabbed........the rage that came over me after we got her stitched up and settled was frightening. I've said it in a old post on here before......I think that if the guy that did it walked in the stable and I had a knife/gun/baseball bat etc......I could quite possibly have killed him.

Just been severly and ultimately fatally beaten with a hammer by a human and the next human that comes along gets nothing but love.

Murder is understandable in a lot of cases. There is no logic to cruelty.
