I had 402mph shown as the maximum speed on my sat nav for ages, kept hoping I'd get a pull and some smart copper would seize it as "evidence". Regrettably I'm obviously to well behaved. Haven't been able to get a signal to reset it on my last couple of flights....

Well, it could be German spec like my bosses...with the 175mph restriction (black exhaust indicate this). Still, it would all have to be totally removed. I'd say it's not a bike.

I would say a Porche 911, as i properly is not a bike

TSM came closest with TGV. It was the Eurostar. Fastest I've ever travelled over land anyway (or under the sea). Would defo recommend it as a way to get to France, 1 1/2 hrs from London to Lille and for 12 quid you can upgrade to club class, with big seats, nice lunch and unlimited free booze, which is what you would need to pay for lunch and a beer in a cafe anyway.

Won't let them go that fast under the water unfortunately... I used to work down there and tried to get permission to take my bike through the service tunnel. I reckoned I could beat the train, wonder what the record is for cross channel crossings.....Needless to say I wasn't allowed to try!
