Hello All
As some who know me are aware due to circumstances I am now no longer riding. As of last night, I also had the sad sad job of watching my nice shiny SV being ridden away from my house for the last time.
Just wanted to say that I hope to still keep in touch with everyone and will still be around on the site. May even make a couple of rideouts to say hi if they are localish. Probably going to remain bikeless for 18 months at which point me and Lily will be back with avengeance (when Lily's restrictor ends)
I see the new owner has already registered (as I mentioned the site), so hopefuly Garth (from Manchester) will enjoy riding the "Tart" as Lily named her.
All the best
Drew

Sorry to read this Drew, thought you'd been quiet! Does Lily still have her red 'un then?

Girth is a tart....but he is not "the Tart"!!!! :D
I know it will fly by........don't know if I should say this, but quite looking forward to getting a new car!!!! lol
As for curvies......doubt it......I am thinking of maybe a big capcity naked twin (ooooh errrrr) or possibly a sensible sports tourer. Lily is thinking of an ER6F. But will wait and see.....sure things will change by then.

:( It gets better my friend. I'm waiting until the winter for a possible purchase as things may be a little cheaper for me. Who knows. I do miss it, there's no denying.

OHHH noes!
I can feel your devastation :-(
I'd have kept the bike and not gone on honeymoon.(kidding ;-) )
I know Spidey is looking after Lilys bike cause I has seen it. I do hope the new owner looks after the tart!

Sorry to hear of peoples' bikeless states :-(
Shameless plug:
My '03-plate Honda Hornet 600 will be going on the market in the very near future. <14kmiles and in good condition. Currently SORNed but will be getting it taxed/MOTed prior to sale. Will need oil/filter change but that should be it.
Will go for a reasonable price should anyone on here want her
PM me if interested.

Well if it's any consolation - at least it has been your choice - not forced upon you through illness as in my case several years back :(

I hope so, I'm sure he will, as he has had many bikes in the past.

This is true. Main reason for it going is that I couldnt justify keeping a bike that I was paying finance for and not using. I wasn't using it as couldn't keep the bike at our place as don't have a garage and insurance is too high. Plus i've not then had the time to go on rideouts etc what with the wedding etc. The final proverbial "straw in the camels back" was that I realised I like going on rideouts with Lily there, but having now had her own bike she quite rightly doesn't want to go pillion.

Drew...you'll be pleased to hear Lilly is in safe hands and gets riden hard, regularly :)
And she's still called lilly even tho it makes me look like a huuuuge old poof when i'm sat on her at soho on a friday night.
She did a trackday earlier this year at Brands and is hoping to show Cadwell what she's made of later this year :)
