Was watching 'Million Dollar Baby' (again) last night and I will admit that towards the end I did have a lump in my throat, the other half.... nothing.
Anyone else care to join the club - oh and I am referring to films with a bit of depth here (not formulaic chick flicks).
* Awaiting the first person to see 'don't you mean g@ys'
** 'Blubbed' meaning crying, this is not a euphamism for something else
Cr@p typo in the heading - please don't send me to grammar hell.
I got something in my eye whilst watching Seven Pounds

Seven pounds for sure. I love the piano music in that.
What else?
Marley & Me (You'll know what I mean if you've had pets before)
Grave of the fireflies (Superb animé)
There's loads more too.

Only 2 films have ever actually reduced me to tears, Schindler's List and Hotel Rwanda, both amazingly powerful films, I defy anyone not to be moved by them.
Marley & Me (You'll know what I mean if you've had pets before)
That got me too, at the end. But I also thought the whole film was a bit poo. Plot summary:
A couple got a dog, did stuff, then the dog died.
Sort of sad with no good bits to make up for it.
"It's a wonderful life" - a black and white starring James Stewart.
Sorry, i'm an old B&W fan - more atmosphere.

That one nearly got me! They showed it last Xmas at the Cornerhouse in Manchester - brilliant film, but probably a different type of 'lump in throat' from the 2 I posted above.
It took all my british stiff-upper-lipidness to get thru' The Green Mile without a tear!
That's the only movie that I've nearly been a big girl's blouse whilst watching!

find most films too corney to find upsetting but the first time of watching Gladiator I did have a bit of a chin wobble and made the desision to mock the misses for crying to avoid a tear myself ;)
we're all guilty of that im sure!

I shed a small tear at the worlds fastest indian with anthony hopkins, Bert Munro just apitamised the true man of motorcycling performance. When he did his run and got the record was just brilliant.
Plus my dads a new Zealander and saw his garage that its shows in the film and how close they managed to get it to the real thing, so there was a bit of a connection to me (loose connection i know).

The doors on that closet are going mad ;)
Have come close to some of the films above but then most the time just keep telling myself 'this is fake, this is fake, these actors r minted, these actors r minted'. That does the trick!

me2! and green mile.
The mist... end scene.
Also, and i'm going to buck the trend here, High School Musical 3. Sat next to my daughter in the cinema. Did she know? Did she hell!
The torture scene at the end of 'Baveheart':smt022
Just watched (listened in the background) to Penelope...random film about a bird with a pigs nose...enjoyable and had a lot of British actors in it. The underlying message of beauty isn't skin deep came through to me...anyho...I'm off to eat some testosterone pills now!

Schindler's List defo, anger and a lumpy throat in equal measure.
The Lion King :smt089, but that's more of a personal reminder thing about seeing my father die, and the relationship we had when he was alive.
Green Mile just made me switch it off, I'm not good with gory stuff or unnecessary dry sponge frying of human beings.

Now, in fairness I didn't out-and-out blubb. At least I am not naive enough to actually think that I wear the trousers in our house ;)
I'm surprised none of you chaps have mentioned "The Crying Game" yet...
No such film has ever existed, not ever!!!

Last one was Mama Mia. When the song 'Slipping Through my Fingers' was sung. That song always reminds me of when my daughter went to primary school for the first time, I was off to work and wanted to give her a hug and wish her well, she was all 'yeah, yeah, see you later Dad...' 5 years old and already so self assured... :smt022 20 years later (almost to the day!) and that song always reminds me of that day, always with a tear in my eye.

Terminator 2
I cannot watch Titanic without bawling my eyes out - it's that final bit where they go back to the ship and all the crew and passengers are all gathered around the staircase (including that poor officer who is so horrified to have shot someone that he kills himself) and that's it, I'm gone for at least 20 minutes.
Not a movie but I didn't exactly like the ending of Klonoa on the Playstation either...

Quite a few films have left me feeling on the verge of tears (none have made me blub but thats good self control!). I cant remember what, but there are some films that have made me think "why does that have to happen in real life, why did that happen, what if things happened differantly"
