my mate woke up this morning to find his hayabusa gone! luckily the police found it 1mile from his home, looks like the thief's couldn't push it any further and they failed to get the engine started due to his datatool alarm. The big Suzuki is his pride and joy but it looks like his insurance is going to write the bike off due to the damage or he's just going to try and fix it via used parts his self :( the damage is - ignition wires all cut, all locks damaged, screen ripped off, seat cowel broken off, datatool alarm wires all ripped out, fairing panels broken :(

be careful guys and gals if your leaving your pride and joy outside in sight of the scumbags.

Did they overcome the steering lock or were they pushing it with the lock on?
What area was it.

I'd honestly rather they got it started, crashed it and wiped both themselves and the bike out. This goes back to the tracker discussion. Theyve already taken it, do you really want it wheeled back in with bits hanging off it?

Its a real shame either way though. I can vouch for how difficult it can be to push the 1300 about, had to push mine up a hill to help me bump it when the battery died. Im only 11 stone **** wet through and was wearing full gear!!

hope that when they decided to leave the bike and scarper they were hit by a freight train and mangled beyond recognition. Hope the train was moving very slowly too so they felt evey bone crunch in the same way they heard evey panel crack that they broke!
