Ok so we went down to see Matt Sv and scoobs and try out the new viffer..

655 miles in total over the weekend.. trip to Brighton too.. was good.

You need to get the matching topbox for that Quiff, at least Mands would have a backrest for when she fell asleep from the boredom of Vifferdom :p

Identical to the one I had on loan, would have one for long trips away (like my Aberdeen Marathon at the weekend) but would need something else for fun local weekends I think.

Excellent bike, but for all the Candy Red (which I think my SV is going to find itself wearing something VERY similar to) its a bit beige.

Found myself eyeing up a GTR1400 at the Grampian Bike Show tho...

me too Mike goin to have a look in a wee while - will e mail ya some pics. looks neat. it just utilises the grab rail holes.. but unsure if the grab rails can stay on.. maybe longer bolts required.looks a solid bit of kit andwill easily hold my tent n sleep bags in a Kriega dry bag bungee on all neat and then frees up the panniers for hair product !

1. it was too good a price with no miles on it.
2 it IS perfect for the biking I do now with Mandy ..

so me have to compromise a bit , but its fun and its growing on me I just dont want to admit I like it I think

I REALLY liked the colour.

I could see myself getting on it and just going for miles and miles - and T loved the pillion sofa, erm seat.

Its a great bike, LP is probably happy there is another Viffer to take the flack I throw, but TBH I would not be over unhappy if for some reason I had to have one.

Great bike in so many ways - especially when Anna can hold it and Bear balanced upright on it to try the seating position.

And as you say, for the riding you do, soo much the perfect bike.

I am hoping I am finally getting across to you that I think its a plus rather than a minus, depite my stirring it up :)

dizz it is actually very quick.. serious.. maybe covers the ground as quick as my gixxer.. well as uick as I rode my gixxer anyway ..

and yea she did have trouble getin on- we had a "system" of sorts on the gix.. just workin it out for this..she has size 9 feet ! so cant get her feet onthe pegs when gettin on if panniers on on.. ha .. so she has to get on first and slide back..

Hmmm i'm jealous with the miles i do the SV is quite uncomfy for me, i wanna be old and slow with hair straightners? (All quotes i've seen either about quiff or buy him). So i can ride a Viffer or Sprint.... Not fair too much comfort!

Great colour, red ones are always faster. If I trade in my Sv I'd go for a Viffer, maybe an earlier pre VETEC one, but I've always wanted a Viffer
