come on orgers help me out here with my idiotic questions
I'm a 34" leg and find that it is only my textile trousers which come up short! My leather trousers are fine as they get zipped into my boots anyhow.

Now dave a Sensible Irish Navvie would have had his friendly surgeon lop off a coupe of inches during the last op.
Sorry nothing more constructive.
Although maybe worth pming Quiff as he had to get leathers altered for his better half, may be an option.

Dave, try giving Joyda Leathers (http://www.joydaleathers.com/) a call, they're only in Hindley so even if they turn out to be too much £££ at least you haven't had to go far to see them / get measured etc...

Dave
I thought you had had surgery to remove some of your leg and your still moaning they are still too long.
Feel sorry for us little uns. off the peg is far long. you get them that fit your beer gut and they assume you must be 20ft tall or that the rest of you is fat as well and make them baggy.

Timwily and Dave Preston should get together, between the 2 of them they'd make one proper sized person.
Thing is, bike boots come a long way up your leg so you can get away with short trousers, but then the knee armour will end up in the wrong place. Hum, I think Richa Vipers come in a long leg variant... Or Wolf used to do custom variation on some of their kit, it was pretty reasonably priced, might be worth giving Harpers a call.
I got mine from hein gericke. I'm 6'5" with 34" waist and 36" inside leg ( well I am in jeans anyway!) I got a set of 2 piece leathers for £200. They fit as good as any off the peg are going to. they have a long leg and long arm variant. Can't remember the model of them, but IIRC it's the same design as speedy claire's jacket with matching trousers
Cant find a picture of them either atm!

I remember talking to these guys at the scottish bike show... If I remember right they basically assemble the wolf kit to order out of pre-prepared bits, so they can do different sizing. Though that was a while ago mind. Still worth a call I reckon, Wolf is good kit though it can be expensive.

Who taught you maths? They'd make 2 normal sized people.
I found Hein Gericke ok too. I've got a 35" inside leg. I did have to get slightly over baggy textiles though. I worry that in an off the armour won't be in the right place at the right time.

I was thinking of subtracting Tim from Dave, which I think would get you approximately one Northwind.
Actually, no, I just can't count. We have calculators these days, catch up!

Last year at the NEC show I came across the following company, I needed Xtra short (as when you get really old you shrink in ALL directions) they have/produce a massive range of leg lengths/waist sizes at very good prices and quality, I got mine for £75 there, could be worth waiting to the next NEC show?

You could try sitting them in a bath for a long time, then they might shrink to normal size :smt082
